Tiara is a historical ornament worn on head just like kings and queens used to wear crown. It is a semi-circle shaped crown worn on very formal or high social occasions. Tiara is a semi circular band made up of metal and is decorated with beads, diamonds, gemstones, gols, silver & other shining decoratives. In India, tiaras are also named as "Taj". In ancient times, it was a jewelry item of both men and women but today women wear tiaras around their head on forehead. Traditionally, tiaras were the high crown in cylindrical shape narrowed at the top.
